The Project Girl Mentoring Program is Hosting a Free Open Mic Night on April 16


The Project Girl mentorship program seeks to shine a spotlight on local talent during an open mic night on Saturday, April 16. Poets, spoken word artists, singers and actors of all levels are invited to join this event.

The mission of the program is to foster the advancement of young women of color to make positive life choices and maximize their authentic potential. The event is free, but all donations will go directly to the mentorship program.

Open mic night is open to anyone 18 years of age or older. Each participant will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a surprise gift.

The slots available are limited, so anyone wishing to perform is encouraged to Register online in advance. Performance slots must remain within three to five minutes and all music or audio files must be sent to [email protected] at least 24 hours before the event.

The event will run from 7-9 p.m. and will take place at the Project Girl Mentorship Program building at 4114 198th St. SW, Suite 4, Lynnwood.
