| June 21: JCI Santa Clarita hosting virtual CV, interview workshop

Thinking of a career change? Returning to the job market after a difficult year? With the end of the pandemic in sight, people may wonder about their next job prospects, career choices, or what is on the horizon.

America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) in Santa Clarita specializes in helping its residents find work and learn the skills they need to access new opportunities.

JCI Santa Clarita, an organization that trains young leaders in the community, is hosting a CV and Interview Workshop presented by AJCC Services Coordinator Melissa McCubbin. In this workshop, participants will learn the basic concepts of online and in-person interviewing, as well as how to create a resume to stand out from the crowd. This training is intended for all job seekers, from beginners to aspirants to the C-Suite. This event is part of the JCI Santa Clarita 2021 training series.

Melissa McCubbin has worked for over 6 years as a Service Coordinator for the America’s Jobs Center of California. She has helped many people overcome barriers to employment and transform lives through the power of work. AJCC’s success stories extend to the Jaycees of Santa Clarita! This could be your opportunity for a new way forward. Please join us as we work together to move Santa Clarita forward.
