Screen Ireland has revamped its film production and development department, with two promotions and one new appointment.
Celine Haddad has been promoted to Senior Project Manager – Feature Film Lead, having worked as Project Manager for Screen Ireland for the past five years, producing feature films including Fires and wolf walkers. She previously held positions at Creative England, Pathé, Passion Pictures and Independent.
In her new role, Haddad will be responsible for overseeing and strategically managing Screen Ireland’s feature film selection, across development and production.
Eimear Markey takes on the role of Head of Development, having served as Head of Development at Screen Ireland for the past four years, where she worked on projects such as sea fever, Deadly Cuts and Wolf. She also managed key development programs such as Spotlight, Screenplay Development and Cine4. As Head of Development, Markey will look after the development slate with the aim of connecting the titles to their target audience in Ireland and internationally.
Heather Browning has been appointed Head of Development and will provide editorial support to Markey throughout the development process. Browning has worked for a number of Irish production companies as a screenwriter and consultant.
She previously served as Head of Development at Deadpan Pictures and as a Script Writer on the development initiative X-Pollinator: Incubator and Screen Ireland’s Spotlight and New Writing programmes.
