The Toyota RAV4 Prime offers three driving modes. These modes are Normal, Eco and Sport. The sport option gives the driver and passengers the fastest acceleration times with more precise throttle calibration. EV mode can reach up to 84 MPH without gas assist.

When running on pure electric power, the Toyota RAV4 Prime accelerates from 0 to 60 MPH in 9.2 seconds. It’s not the fastest time, but it’s decent. If you’re on gas, the RAV4 clears 5.7 seconds, faster than other plug-in hybrid SUVs in its class.

Being a plug-in hybrid SUV did not affect the dimensions of the RAV4 when it comes to the exterior. This means it measures the same as a regular gas RAV4. This ride measures 180.9 inches in length, 73 inches in width and 67 inches in height. It has a height of ground clearance of 8.3 and a wheelbase of 105.9 inches.
