Exploring continuing education options is a fantastic way to do this, allowing you to dip your toes into a growing industry or perhaps develop the skills you already have to find out if growth in your current role is right for you.

Since many adult courses are affordable, they offer easy access to education and you only need to be 18 years of age or older (with a high school diploma) to enroll. That being said, we’ve compiled a selection of engaging summer courses at Emily Carr University of Art and Design for you to consider.

Introductory web design

By taking this introductory course, you will learn the basics of website design, from technique to aesthetics, and how to write HTML and CSS.
